Shaez Allidina
Director
Shaez Allidina is a hospitality, real estate, and capital-markets executive with extensive experience scaling operating companies, leading strategic acquisitions, and managing multi-asset portfolios. He currently serves as Managing Partner of Evergreen Hospitality Group, a hotel ownership and management platform that has grown to more than 25 properties across British Columbia, including assets in the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and the Sunshine Coast.
Shaez has guided Evergreen’s expansion through disciplined capital allocation, operational oversight, and a hands-on leadership approach that spans acquisitions, asset management, and financial strategy. Prior to Evergreen, he spent several years in investment banking and capital markets at RBC Capital Markets, where he worked on complex M&A transactions and large-scale financings, including the US$15.1B Nexen acquisition by CNOOC.
Shaez is a graduate of Bowdoin College, where he studied Neuroscience and Economics, and holds an Honors Business Administration (HBA) degree with a Finance concentration from the Ivey School of Business at Western University. On the Volunteer front, Shaez plays an active role in devoting time and resources to the community at large. Shaez served as the National Lead for Alliances Canada for the Aga Khan Economic Planning Board. Previously, Shaez was the Chair of the Economic Planning Board for British Columbia, where he led a Board in achieving the overall mandate to improve the economic well-being of the community by providing guidance and assistance toward a sound financial base. Prior to Chair, he served as the National Deputy Program Director for Skills and Employment on the National Aga Khan Economic Planning Board for Canada.
In joining the Board of LIFT Impact Partners, Shaez aims to contribute his experience in governance, investment strategy, and organizational growth to support social-purpose ventures and strengthen Canada’s impact ecosystem. His involvement reflects a deep commitment to community-building, inclusive economic opportunity, and supporting mission-driven entrepreneurs.
