Shaez Allidina

Shaez Allidina is a Managing Partner of Evergreen Hospitality Group, one of the fastest-growing hotel groups in British Columbia with 20+ hotels in the portfolio across the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and the Sunshine Coast. Shaez is responsible for providing strategic direction and overseeing revenue and asset management. Shaez brings over 10 years of experience in finance, investment banking (M&A), and capital markets.
Shaez’s experience spans across a wide spectrum of sectors, including Private Equity Real Estate & Hotel Management, Oil & Gas, Mining, and PPP Infrastructure. During his time with RBC Capital Markets, Shaez worked on CNOOC’s acquisition of energy-producer Nexen, which was the single largest foreign takeover by a Chinese company at US$15.1 billion.
Shaez holds a degree in Neuroscience and Economics from Bowdoin College and an Honors Business Administration (HBA) degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University with a concentration in Finance.
On the Volunteer front, Shaez plays an active role in devoting time and resources to the community at large. Shaez served as the National Lead for Alliances Canada for the Aga Khan Economic Planning Board. Previously, Shaez was the Chair of the Economic Planning Board for British Columbia, where he led a Board in achieving the overall mandate to improve the economic well-being of the community by providing guidance and assistance toward a sound financial base. Prior to Chair, he served as the National Deputy Program Director for Skills and Employment on the National Aga Khan Economic Planning Board for Canada. With his Neuroscience and Finance background, Shaez serves as a Board Member for Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation.
