Vancouver, B.C. – LIFT Impact Partners is pleased to announce a strategic collaboration with Deloitte Canada. Over the past year, Deloitte has worked with LIFT to accelerate the growth and effectiveness of social purpose organizations (charities, non-profits, and social enterprises) in LIFT’s portfolio that support Canadians in finding meaningful and equitable opportunities.

This key relationship between LIFT and Deloitte represents a significant step forward in bridging the gap between private sector expertise and social impact, combining LIFT's expertise in growing the impact of social purpose organizations across the country, with Deloitte's world-class consulting services and digital transformation capabilities.

“We are deeply appreciative of this new collaboration with Deloitte Canada and the wealth of expertise they bring to our purposeful work,” said Bruce Dewar, President & Chief Executive Officer at LIFT. "Their commitment to evolve the way we serve our communities, to help millions of Canadians achieve their full potential, aligns perfectly with LIFT’s mission. By leveraging our combined strengths, we can create lasting, positive change for Canadians and the social purpose organizations serving them."

Shannon Kot, Partner & Canadian Federal Immigration Leader at Deloitte Canada, added, “Working with LIFT and the Strategic Reinvention Initiative cohort has been a privilege – these are the purpose-driven organizations and mandates that Deloitte and our team are committed to serving. It is inspiring and rewarding to collaborate with leaders who are passionate about building Canada for the future and eager to explore how data, technology, and specifically AI can be used as an accelerating and scaling difference maker. I look forward to continuing our collaboration and amplifying the impact we are already starting to see.”

Since its inception, the collaboration has already seen remarkable results:

  • Enhanced data-driven insights for organizations serving the needs of over 450,000 Canadians and 22,000 employers across Canada.
  • Supported settlement organizations in developing an AI-enabled prototype to enhance efficiency, improve outreach and intake processes, and better connect newcomers with the necessary supports for their employment and settlement journey.
  • Fostered cross-sector learning and collaboration through events at the Deloitte Greenhouse on leveraging emerging technologies and through LIFT-hosted virtual sessions on emerging trends and private sector perspectives to further amplify outcomes around meaningful employment.

Enver Naidoo, CEO of Westman Immigrant Services, a social purpose organization in LIFTs portfolio, shared: "The collaboration between LIFT and Deloitte has been transformative for our organization. Their combined expertise has allowed us to think differently to expand our reach, streamline our operations, and explore innovative technologies we normally would not have access to. This relationship is truly empowering social purpose organizations to create greater impact."

These early successes demonstrate the power of our combined expertise and shared commitment to creating lasting positive change. Deloitte's contributions are transformative for the social purpose organizations in LIFT’s portfolio, playing a crucial role in their growth and their success in an ever-changing world.

We look forward to building on this strong foundation and working closely with Deloitte to drive innovation and create meaningful, measurable outcomes for our communities.
