As Principal of On Governance Consulting, Margie Parikh focuses on amplifying the impact and value of Boards and directors.

With over 25 years experience in international marketing, financial management, and Board governance, Margie brings to the table multiple perspectives as a consultant, a director, and senior leader. In addition to her Board role with LIFT, Margie is a Director on the CRA’s Board of Management. She was Lead Director / Chair of the BC Energy Regulator, CISV International, and Mountain Equipment Co-op, and has served on numerous other boards, including Camosun College and Oikocredit Canada.

A Chartered Director, Margie’s also holds an MBA from Columbia University, the Certified Financial Planner designation, and Not-For-Profit and Crown governance certifications from the Institute of Corporate Directors. A long time ago, received a Bachelor of International Relations from the University of British Columbia. She is currently completing the Competent Boards Global ESG designation, supporting her clients to amplify their impact in creating a net-zero world.

Her many community roles include volunteering as a mentor for Women Get on Board, coach for RISE on Boards for young directors, and leader of several refugee sponsorship initiatives.
