Sheryl brings over 20 years of corporate, commercial and financial expertise, in both the private and not-for-profit sectors, to LIFT. Sheryl serves on the board of directors for Legal Services Society of BC, is an honorary director for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society, and previously volunteered with Canuck Place.
After completing a bachelor of commerce at the University of British Columbia and her chartered accountant designation, Sheryl worked for Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP. She also worked with Enbridge Services, first as a manager of finance and administration and then as the manager of BC operations. She was involved with the sale of Enbridge Services to Direct Energy in March 2002, and managed the transition and ultimate closure of the BC operations. She then served as director of business effectiveness for the commercial business division with Direct Energy in Toronto.
