Project Coordinator, Social Impact
Prior to joining LIFT, Salomeh worked with Pathways to Education, a national organization focusing on improving the educational achievement gap for youth in low-income communities. She also worked at LAMP Community Health Centre, known for its advocacy and civic engagement. Salomeh has a ‘Skills for Social Change’ Certificate from The Coady Institute, and was awarded the AFP Fellowship in Philanthropy and Inclusion, as well as the LAMP CHC Award of Merit. Salomeh also served as a Board member for Lakeshore Arts.
More recently she consulted with small businesses, co-operatives and grassroots groups where she designed, managed, monitored and supported capacity building. With an interest in creative, cross-sector collaboration, Salomeh founded the community group Rexdale Lab and has driven successful multi-sector projects in Toronto.
At Western University, Salomeh was captain, MVP and all-star of the Varsity Fencing Team during her studies where she completed an Honours in Health Science. She is currently completing her MBA with a focus on Community Economic Development.
