Women Building Futures is a leader in pre-apprentice trades training and heavy equipment operator training for women and has extensive experience attracting and recruiting women into non-traditional careers. LIFT is working with Women Building Futures to enhance its business model, diversify funding sources, build organizational capacity and expand its outreach to engage more women across Alberta in the trades industry
Aboriginal Human Resource Council (AHRC) promotes workplace inclusion for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit people in Canada. The organization provides advisory services to help companies recurit, retain and advance Aboriginal employees. AHRC focuses on improving employee engagement, developing business and procurement opportunities, and investing in corporate social responsibility activities that engage and support Indigenous communities.
KidSport Canada is a national not-for-profit organization, which provides funding to help children across Canada play organized sports. LIFT is working with KidSport Canada to improve its government structure, measurement processes and revenue model to position the organization for long-term success.
Take a Hike operates an alternative education program for at-risk youth, which provides a unique combination of adventure-based learning, academics, therapy, and community involvement. LIFT has worked with Take a Hike to develop the tools and resources it needs to replicate its program in communities throughout BC and Canada.
